We offer multiple ways to see and communicate with your family doctor.
Initial visits to establish care are approximately 50 minutes. Lifestyle medicine consultations are also 50 minutes. Follow-up and sick care is usually a 20 to 30 minute visit.
Telemedicine visits are available through Doxy.me. If you need help getting your smart phone or a laptop set up, let us know - we would be happy to help.
Patients with internet access and email can log in to see their health records, and securely communicate with a physician.
A range of primary care and lifestyle medicine services are offered.
For school sports, drivers license, or employment. Please bring the form with you and complete your section before the visit.
Recommended age-appropriate screenings for children and adults. Learn about your health risks and how to reduce them.
Adult immunizations include pneumonia, shingles, influenza and tetanus. Childhood immunizations will be available soon.
Learn how to manage and prevent complications of diabetes, heart disease, COPD, sleep apnea, osteoporosis and other diseases. Low cost medications are available through the clinic, or electronic scripts can be sent to your preferred pharmacy.
Blood work can be drawn at the lab of your choice. St. Joseph Clinic can recommend low-cost lab services in the community for patients who do not have health insurance. If x-rays or other imaging is needed, we can assist with insurance authorization and scheduling.
Acute care / sick visits are usually available on scheduled office days, and video or in-person visits can be arranged on other days if needed. For emergencies, patients should visit their nearest ER or call 911.
Lifestyle Medicine Consultations are available to patients who receive primary care at St. Joseph Clinic, and also for patients who see other doctors and would like to address lifestyle-related health concerns such as prevention - and sometimes even reversal - of diabetes, heart disease and certain early cancers.
Osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) "is a set of hands-on techniques used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, a DO moves a patient’s muscles and joints using techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance." (American Osteopathic Association).
St. Joseph Clinic periodically offers classes on a variety of healthy living topics. Cooking classes are also planned. Fundraising activities may include healthy dinners and "walk with a Doc" events.
Saint Joseph Clinic offers several options to pay for care.
Currently accepting Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, and certain commercial insurance plans. Copayment due at time of visit; your insurance will be billed. Saint Joseph Clinic does not balance bill, so you only pay the copay and/or coinsurance specified by your health plan.
Saint Joseph Clinic provides care to all persons, including those without the means to pay. Individuals or families with low income can apply for a sliding scale discount, which may cover up to 100% of fees. Please ask for an application or see our Payment Policy brochure.
Those who want to pay in full at the time of service may find that the cost is lower than typical out-of-network charges.
